Online payment app Mobikwik has joined hands with Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation ( IRCTC ) to facilitate e-cash payments for tatkal bookings . Now apart from paying through netbanking, credit and debit cards and other wallets users have the option to pay through their mobikwik wallet while booking tatkal tickets.
Mobikwik claims that the new service will allow users to pay with the wallet within 2 seconds whereas other modes of payment take 5 to 10 times more time . It will ensure that the customers bookings do not get rejected just because of payment delays. This facility is available on www.services.irctc.co.in and users can book their tickets between 8am and 12pm daily.

To book a tatkal ticket users have to preload their Mobikwik wallet with net beanking , debit card , credit card or cash loading. Users can also deposit cash in Mobikwik by visiting 100,000 locations in 10,000 cities. the centres for this can be found in nearby tab of Mobikwik app .
