Vivo, the Chinese smartphone makers, announced the launch of their new Vivo V5 in India last week. The main attraction in the launching event was the huge and magnificent 20 MP selfie camera. This is the first time, a mainstream smartphone producer is hitting the market with this huge front camera. The front camera is a Moonlight Glow camera which makes it more special. The phone will be available from 26th November but can be pre-ordered from the 16th of the same.

Looking into the specs, V5's 5.5" screen features a 2.5D curved screen with a resolution of 1280X720 pixels which is made of Gorilla Glass 3. The handset is powered by a 3000 mAh battery which supports fast charging, thus making into the bucket list of the people who use their phone so much. The Android 6.0 Marshmallow used in the phone is topped with Vivo's FunTouch OS 2.6. The Vivo V5 is powered by a 1.8GHz Snapdragon 652 octa-core processor with 4GB RAM along with 32GB internal storage which is expandable upto 128GB via microSD card.

Along with this launch, they also hinted on V5 Plus which will be World's first smartphone with a dual-lens camera setup for the front camera. The base model of Vivo V5 is priced at 17980 INR in different online hubs as of now which will later spread to offline stores as well
