Jio Happy New Offer: Free Data Offer Continues Till 31st

Ambani, the Chairman of Reliance Industries yesterday announced some really
overwhelming news about the Jio Happy New Year Offer that allows the existing
and new Jio customers to avail the free data services till 31 March 2017. The Jio free data service was supposed to be expired
on 31 December but as an extension to Jio Happy New Year Offer the validity has
been extended to three more months. Jio services like Free Calls, Free data and
other Jio services will be provided at the same speed in this Happy New Year
Offer.
There are some changes done with the new Happy New Year Plan. Unlike the Jio Welcome Offer that was launched three months ago offering 4 GB per day at the 4G speed Jio Happy New Year plan reduces the fair usage policy (FUP) limit to 1GB per day. Once you exceed the FUP limit the speed reduces to 128Kbps. The reason why FUP limit has been reduced because 80 percent of the Jio users don’t exceed 1 GB per day whereas 20 percent users exceeded the 4 GB limit that leads to the network congestion.

As far as the existing Jio customers are concerned their old Jio Welcome Offer will be automatically converted into Reliance Jio Happy New Year starting January 1.
