CPC or Cost per Click



CPC is Cost per Click, this term is used when an advertiser pays money which is based on the clicks on his ad. CPC varies it can be $1, $3 or more for example if a particular keyword has a CPC of $5 and the ad has been clicked by someone , the advertiser will have to pay $5 for that click. These ads can be in the form of text ads pop up or a square banner.
CPV or Cost per View



CPC is Cost per view, this term is used when an advertiser pays money which is based on the views on his ad. In CPV when the viewer watches ads for minimum 30 seconds or say half of the ad and for that duration i.e., 30 seconds advertiser is charged. No matter how many times you click on the ads advertiser won’t be charged as he is paying for the view not for the click.
