Elon Musk plans to shift the human population on Mars
Yes!! You heard it right, the billionaire and founder of
SpaceX has some really interesting plans for the future of human population of
the world.
All these came from an event at the International
Astronautical Congress held in Guadalajara, Mexico two days ago. In this event
Elon talked about his plans to transfer the human population to the Red planet
Mars. The billionaire has also proposed that the expense of travelling to the
mars will be as cheaper as buying an average home in USA
i.e., $200,000.
As he predicts that one day the human civilization is going
to be extinct. So, keeping that in mind it would be a need of humans to
transport themselves to the other planet and Mars seems to be the best choice
after all. Elon musk wants to build up cities on planet Mars that could help in
the survival of human beings. Right now
his company is just focusing on getting there. According to Space X, their
spacecraft shouldn’t take more than 80 days to reach to the Mars or they could
cut down the travelling period to 30 days. In order to make these things
actually work Space X would be using rocket reusability, spacecraft refueling in
orbit and propellant production.
Some big names attended this special event including
astronaut Buzz Aldrin and some other great scientists. The event was launched
in order to publicize their latest plans from Elon Musk’s private company
Space X. Space X was initiated by Musk as Space Exploration Technologies Corp in
2002.
