Do you remember the mobile game sensation which was launched in the beginning of the year. Yes, I am well talking about the Pokemon Go which took the World into its pocket. The only problem for its Indian users was that it was not released officially in the country because of which they had to download the pirated version which was not good for them as well as the net etiquette. When the hype was very much on its peaks, the Pokemon server in India went down and it was considered that it will not come back to India again. But well, this is the news all the Pokemon Go lovers have been waiting for. Pokemon Go is now official in India. The app will be up for downloading from Wednesday in both Play Store and App Store.

Interestingly, now, the developer of the augmented reality game, Niantic Inc., has partnered with Reliance Jio to get it done India. As part of this partnership, Reliance Digital Stores and some other selected outlets will be depicted as "PokeStops" and "Gyms" from the day this will release.

"We are delighted to partner with Jio to launch Pokemon Go in India. It's exciting to see Pokemon fans in India step out and explore their neighbourhood in search of Pokemon and Jio's disruptive high speed 4G LTE Network will be an excellent way to experience the game"
-John Hanke, CEO FOunder of Niantec Inc.

To recall the hype created in the beginning, the whole World was crazy about it. People started making new social groups with the ones who played the game. Ever since the release of the game, the game has been downloaded a total of over 500 million times as of now. This toll is expected to rise again keeping in mind the recent release in India.

The players in India will now get an exclusive Pokemon Go Channel in their JioChat. This channel, according to the company, will allow players to be part of an exclusive community where they will be able to be kept updated with any special tips, events etc.

Since the Reliance Jio Welcome offer has been extended upto March, the Pokemon Go lovers will be able to download the game without any incurred data charges.
